Vixen's flagship apochromatic refractor made for visual and astrophotography. A quad element design consisting of triplet objective lens, incorporating a central SD lens, plus a field corrector lens in the drawtube. This produces exceptionally sharp images free from chromatic aberration and delivers high contrast and clear images. Star images are less than 20 microns on the edge of imaging field. A newly introduced precision multi-coating on the objective lens yield high light transmission of a 99.5% within a spectrum between 400mm and 700mm per surface.

Apochromatic telescope with Triplet Objective Lens & Field Corrector Lens
By placing an SD (super extremely low depression glass) lens at the centre of the objective lens, this optical system realizes excellent correction for chromatic aberration and delivery of clear sharp images. In addition, the built-in field corrector lens helps to yield 20-micron star images even at the edge of the view field. “Precision Multi-Coating”, which is applied to the lenses, assures the light transmission of 99.5% on each surface for the wavelength of 400nm to 700nm!
