Auto/Motor Focuser
Focusing motors are a huge help in astrophotography, as the telescope no longer needs to be focused by hand - this eliminates the annoying shaking.
It is also possible to plan a focus control via the software in the fully automated process so that temperature fluctuations in the different materials are compensated and the images always remain point-like.
What do you have to pay attention to?
Pay attention to the power supply and how it works at low temperatures and below zero temperatures; there are motors that then have to be heated separately, otherwise they will freeze.
Some motors come with a small hand control so that the motor can be operated without a smartphone/tablet/PC, or it should be decoupled so that you can focus by hand outside of astrophotography.
