Note on 3D printing

You will receive a very high-quality print that needs to withstand some knocks and temperature fluctuations. How sturdy a print turns out depends – apart from the material – on what is known as the infill. Unfortunately, a lightweight, quick print cannot withstand any stress at all (nor does it look very good), so we have to print with almost full infill, and this simply takes time and energy.

Depending on the model, a print takes between just under four and seven hours! During this time, the 3D printer is continuously heated.

Mounting

Some of our sun finder are secured with screws. Please tighten these screws very gently to avoid damaging the sun tracker.

Storage

The material we use can, of course, withstand a certain temperature range (up to approx. 117°C). Nevertheless, you should store it away from radiators or hot cars to prevent damage such as accidental warping.
