There are various carrier bags with different padding.

Mounts
"Thin-walled" carrier bags for mounts can, for example, hold the original hard foam from the cardboard transport packaging. You can then modify this slightly if necessary to make it easier to remove the mount or, for example, to avoid always having to adjust the pole height to a different value.

You should transport the weights separately in another bag.

Styrofoam packaging and cube foam are not recommended, as the former will break after a very short time and cube foam is simply far too soft to protect a mount properly and safely against impacts (especially the worm shafts).
Telescopes/Optics
There are very well-padded carrying bags, some of which are tailored so that, for example, a sensitive finder scope can remain mounted.
This means that an optic can be transported on the rear seat bench, strapped in, in an exemplary manner.
Accessories
Smaller accessory bags can be attached to the belt or directly to the tripod leg, for example - so everything remains perfectly protected from moisture and dirt.
Reflective strips for your safety
Some bags have reflective strips so that you can be recognised early by approaching cars, even at night (so please always keep driveways/rescue routes clear).
