product description
The largest aperture of the CPC Deluxe HD series, the CPC Deluxe 1100 HD telescope has the most light-gathering power; almost 90% more than the 8" model and over 40% more than the 9.25". And best of all, the CPC Deluxe 1100 HD combines Celestron's newly designed fork mount with its superior EdgeHD optical system.
With sophisticated software features like the Hibernate function, the CPC can maintain its star alignment night after night without needing to be re-aligned, making it an ideal instrument for a permanent observatory facility.
Even with an aperture of over 1500 times the light gathering power than the unaided eye, the CPC Deluxe Series is still one of Celestron's most portable astronomical telescopes. With its conveniently located carrying handles and an instrument weight of 66 lbs, this telescope is portable enough to setup in your backyard or take with you to your favorite dark sky location.
The CPC Deluxe 1100 HD is at home as a superb visual instrument or with optional Pro Wedge and CCD cameras, as a serious astro imager's tool. Turn this scope to planets and see amazing detail on the surface of Jupiter; see Cassini's Division in the rings of Saturn and resolve details on the surface of Mars and even distant globular clusters.
