A high quality tube ring for the VSD90SS optical tube unit. Applicable to 115mm outer diameter optical tubes.

A high quality tube ring designed for use with the highest quality Vixen VSD90SS optical tube be a flagship. It is usable with an optical tube unit having 115mm in outer diameter, besiesd the VSD90SS. It can be attached directly to an SXP2, AXJ or AXD2 equatorial mount using two M8 screws. With an optional Dual slide bar, or optional Universal dovetail plate, you can also attach the tube ring to an SX2 or SXD2 equatorial mount equipped with the standard dovetail mounting block.

Designed for VSD90SS

The tube ring is intended for use with the Vixen VSD90SS mainly, but is compatible with an optical tube unit with an outer diameter of 115mm.*

The material used is thick aluminum to ensure sufficient strength, even if large or various accessories are attached.
Each part is machined from aluminum blocks, and the surfaces are anodized to give them a calm and luxurious appearance.

*Outer diameter of 115mm:VSD100F3.8, AX103S, SD103SII, A105MII, and etc

Equipped with different threaded screw holes

The tube ring mounts many kinds of accessories using different sizes of threaded holes provided for mounting.

Easy-to-balanced Clamshell type with the convenience of installation and removal

The Clamshell type tube ring holds the telescope optical tube securely with a simple action.

You can quickly attach and detach the optical tube or adjust the balance readily.

Mounting to the Vixen equatorial mounts

The tube ring is attachable directly* to the head of the SXP2, AXJ, and AXD2 mounts.

With an optionally available Dual slide bar or Universal dovetail bar together, you can attach the tube ring to the SX2 and SXD2 equatorial mounts with the Vixen's standard dovetail.

*The SXP2, AXJ, and AXD2 come with two M8 screws.
