The sealed and certified switching power supply is the perfect addition to almost all Pegasus Astro products. It delivers 12V and up to 20 amps (240W total power). Low ripple and low noise ensure that you supply your valuable devices with the necessary and correct “power.”
A “low noise” power supply refers to a device that delivers a particularly clean and stable output voltage – i.e., with minimal electrical interference or fluctuations. This is particularly important in sensitive applications such as audio, measurement, or communication technology.
What does “noise” mean in a power supply?
- Electrical noise: Unwanted voltage or current fluctuations that are superimposed on the DC voltage. These can originate from the power supply itself (e.g., due to switching operations in switching power supplies) or from external interference.
