The Vixen Advance Unit is an expansion unit designed for the Vixen STAR BOOK TEN controller.

The Installation of the Vixen Advance Unit in the STAR BOOK TEN enhanes your auto guiding capabilities. With this unit installed you can view an image from a CCD based imaging camera, record to or play back from an SD/SDHC card and adjust the shutter exposure of a DSLR camera.

Works as a built-in autoguider in combination with an optional CCD video camera.
Video images by analog AV signal (NTSC composite signal) can be displayed on the screen of STAR BOOK TEN.
The video images can be recorded to a commercially available SD/SDHC memory card sold separately.
Remote shutter release control of a DSLR camera is possible.
