Ultrashort 2" eyepiece clamp, with M68 male auxiliary thread on the focus side and M68 male thread (Zeiss) and M60 thread (Vixen) on the telescope side
Allows the adaptation of 2" accessories, e.g. to Zeiss eyepiece focusers with M68 female thread.

Ultrashort 2" eyepiece clamp

The Ultrashort eyepiece clamp has the following external threads: M68 and M60. It is the shortest 2" eyepiece clamp in the M68 (Zeiss) adapter system and can also be used as a deluxe clamp on all Vixen eyepiece extensions with M60 internal thread.

Easy-grip screws ensure a firm hold.

The double-sided Zeiss thread makes it possible, for example (in combination with the M68 reversing ring #2458195) to use all 2" eyepieces up to 63 mm eyepiece diameter for photographic eyepiece projection or to attach an FFC in the beam path or to mount a telecentric system TZ-2 or TZ-4 behind a TEC or Astro Physics refractor.

The M68 extension system can be screwed tightly and thus provides maximum torsional rigidity for long projection distances and the heaviest photo equipment or a Solar Spectrum solar filter.
