Optically matched to the Sky-Watcher SKYMAX 200DX Maksutov-Cassegrain, the two-lens Focal Reducer/Flattener has a reduction factor of 0.7x, providing a faster telescope focal ratio of f/7. It comes with a standard adaptor with M48 thread and 55mm back focus for use with Sky-Watcher's M48 Canon EOS (code OV#20237) and Nikon (code OV#20238) M48 adaptor rings. The Reducer/Flattener produces a fully illuminated and corrected image circle of 30mm diameter and is therefore perfectly suitable for image formats up to APS-C but can also be used for full format.

The focal length produced is as follows:

SKYMAX 200DX: 2000mm x 0.7 = 1400 mm focal length
Aperture ratio from f/7 → f/7

All lenses are fully multi-coated.
