ToupTek: Installation Instruction - Astro Automatic Focuser

The ToupTek Astro Automatic Focuser AAF01 - focussing motor can be easily adapted to almost any telescope.

All you have to do is measure the diameter of your focussing axis and check whether one of the connection adapters fits, i.e. your axis diameter must be: 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm and 8mm.

Then check and measure whether the holes in the sketch match your screw holes.
Done.

Here we go:

1. Check the packing list and use M3 screws to assemble the standard connection plate:

2. Remove the focusing knob from the telescope (left or right):

3. Select and install the appropriately sized flexible coupler:

4. Use M4/M5 screws to mount the AAF body onto the flexible coupler:

5. Install the standard connection plate on the focuser base, secure it with M4 screws to attach it firmly to the AAF and ensure stability.

6. According to specific usage requirements, connect the USB data cable / temperature sensing cable / handle:
