Important Notice Regarding Shipping to the EU

Dear Customers,

as of August 12, 2026, the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) will take effect. It requires an authorized representative for each destination country to assume the obligations under the packaging regulation—with no minimum quantity or exemptions. For us, this would mean incurring the cost of a representative for every EU country—even if only a single package is shipped—at a cost of several hundred euros per country.

Due to these unavoidable costs, we are unfortunately forced to temporarily suspend shipping to all EU countries and will now only ship within Germany. We hope that the European Commission will amend the regulation soon.

As of July 1, 2021: Delivery in EU countries with the respective value added tax

Dear customer

In the course of the so-called VAT Digital Pact, VAT law will be reformed on July 1, 2021 in the EU. Until now, the so-called "mail order regulation" applied to cross-border online trade with consumers in the EU. According to this, the VAT-rate of the seller's country is generally applied, unless a certain turnover threshold is exceeded in the calendar year. If this turnover threshold is exceeded, the goods must be taxed at the rate applicable in the respective EU country to be supplied. In order to simplify cross-border deliveries and the bureaucratic effort, a so-called "One-Stop-Shop Procedure" (OSSV) has been established. The OSSV eliminates the obligation to file local tax returns in other EU member states. Accordingly, the "mail order regulation" will no longer apply as of July 1, 2021, provided that the company based in Germany registers for the OSSV.

We have decided to apply the "one-stop store procedure" as of July 1, 2021 and will charge cross-border deliveries of goods to end consumers at the VAT rate applicable in the respective country. This means that from July 1, 2021, we will process all orders from EU countries with the local VAT in the receivers country.

If you enter your address in the checkout, the prices will automatically be displayed to you anew with the respective VAT of the EU country.
 Alternatively, you can log in and save your address in the address book. Then all prices on the website - on product and category pages - should already show you the respective VAT rate of your country.
