Classic & PRO versions
Classic version = without front cover and without adjustment straps for an even smaller opening
PRO version = with front cover and further adjustment options
Effective protection from daylight/sunlight
Simply place your laptop/notebook in the iCap and you can once again view the entire screen free of reflections - the finest details are visible again.
Stray light protection for astronomers
Except for the small, variable front opening, iCaps do not allow any light to penetrate to the outside. This means that you will not be easily noticed in the open field or in the garden and you protect other observers at the telescope who are not dazzled by your laptop.
Rain & water protection
iCaps are waterproof up to a water column of 2000mm. Please note, however, that your iCap should not stand in water, as otherwise water can penetrate through the front opening. All side openings for the cable bushings are effectively covered.
For the stargazer, we always recommend the larger version, as you can then also store your accessories, as dew always falls from above - so everything stays dry for longer.
Portable
Thanks to the very sturdy construction, you can carry your iCap together with your notebook or accessories easily using the top handle.
Side openings with cover
There are two large side openings on the left and right so that you can easily route all conceivable cables, USB sticks, ... can be conveniently routed.
Variable opening (PRO version only)
The opening can be narrowed if necessary or widened if you need more space for writing/working. Although notebooks are not large radiators, ventilation can be regulated. Wireless mice can easily be placed next to the tent for working.
Front cover (PRO version only)
If there is rain or more dew than usual, you can fasten the transparent front cover with Velcro and still slide your hands through to work. This keeps everything dry. You can also cover the front cover with an optional grey or red film to provide additional glare protection.
Fastening option
If you are working in strong winds, you can also attach the iCap to a table, for example, using the Velcro strap provided.
Convenient carrying bag
If you want to fold the iCap really small again, you can store it in a carrying bag - the highlight: there are folding instructions inside.
Folding mechanism
There are two folding mechanisms: a light folding mechanism for everyday use and a compact folding mechanism so that it fits back into the bag - please watch the videos.
